Preface: 

Olameinu Communities was created yesterday, February 1, 2025, with the attachment of the domain olameinu.com to the U-Teach platform.  Today, much of the infrastructure was attended to, with temporary revisions to the homepage, and creation of the first community, The Corner. This log will serve as an introduction to Olameinu Communities.

Welcome to Olameinu Communities

My name is Jerry Waxman, and I have created Olameinu Communities as an escape from “Noise.” My vision is a set of communities in which people can interact as we used to interact, as people talking with each other, without unnecessary confrontations, bickering, slanders, and insults that we commonly find these days on social media, cable TV, in the halls of Congress, and in the White House.  In other words, a place where people can get together and act like a community.  

Today I created the first community,The Corner.  I had this idea months ago that I wanted to have a community to compliment another website about hobbies. It would be a place where people talk about their hobbies and their personal achievements.  For the while they spend here, as they spend time on their hobbies, they don't have to think about what's wrong in the world.  They can think about what they like, and meet each other on a friendly level.  

Hopefully, the communities will give me a chance to share some of my written creations.  I have already put one free ebook into the products section.  Everybody who joins The Corner will have access to the products and courses that I plan to offer.   There is no hard sell, and no artificial pressure to take action.  The only thing left to do is enjoy life and enjoy Olameinu Communities. [Mi nombre es Jerry Waxman y he creado Olameinu Communities como una vía de escape del “ruido”. Mi visión es la de crear un conjunto de comunidades en las que las personas puedan interactuar como solíamos hacerlo, como personas que hablan entre sí, sin enfrentamientos innecesarios, peleas, calumnias e insultos que encontramos comúnmente en estos días en las redes sociales, la televisión por cable, en los pasillos del Congreso y en la Casa Blanca. En otras palabras, un lugar donde las personas puedan reunirse y actuar como una comunidad. 

Hoy he creado la primera comunidad, The Corner.  Hace meses tuve la idea de que quería tener una comunidad que complementara otro sitio web sobre pasatiempos. Sería un lugar donde las personas hablaran sobre sus pasatiempos y sus logros personales. Durante el tiempo que pasan aquí, mientras dedican tiempo a sus pasatiempos, no tienen que pensar en lo que está mal en el mundo. Pueden pensar en lo que les gusta y encontrarse entre sí en un nivel amistoso. 

Con suerte, las comunidades me darán la oportunidad de compartir algunas de mis creaciones escritas. Ya he incluido un libro electrónico gratuito en la sección de productos.
